Hair grows in cycles. The number of treatments required for optimal long-term benefits will vary, depending on the treated areas and the individual (such as your skin, hair colour, hair density, hair growth cycle, age, ethnicity, and hormonal levels).
On average, 5-7 treatments may be required. Unlike traditional methods like shaving, our hair removal process does not cause hair to grow back thicker, darker or quicker. In fact, the opposite will occur i.e. it will cause hair to come back slower and thinner, or in some cases not at all.
The side effects are usually minimal. You may experience temporary itching, redness and swelling on the targeted area. They usually go away within a few hours. Proper aftercare is important to minimise adverse side effects.
